4 months and counting…
This year, we’d planned to have a programme during the first quarter or at least during the kid’s summer vacations. We all got more regular with the classes, practised better and we were generally gearing up towards the big day. And boom!
The lockdown meant us having to miss our dance classes. We all took it in our stride but now, it looks like we wont be going back to the classes anytime soon! Sigh!!
Here a few pictures from my archive that took me down this memory lane! These were taken a couple of years ago in the Indian Heritage Academy premises. The place where we used to go for our dance classes during the weekend. Me, Sis2, Ammu and Adi…
The place, the energy, the vibes had all drawn us instantly. It has an idyllic charm about it… kind of a pleasant surprise in the midst of all the traffic and chaos that generally defines most areas in Bengaluru.

Adi had joined the classes because his didi had. And, he was excited about the weekend trips to this place where he could dance for a bit and then run around, then get to have some snacks or chaats and generally have fun!
So glad we’d clicked these pics of the inquisitive Adi, enjoying himself after the dance class 🙂

Feels like its going to be a while before we go back there. I was wondering how the place must look now without the kids and general hustle-bustle! It must surely be missing all the action 😦 😐

What a gorgeous lush compound. I think this is one of the best things about Bangalore. I am sorry to hear that you have been missing out the experience of outdoor due to the lock down- its something we all are craving at the moment too.
