These lovely flowers belong to the family Asteraceae, also known as the Daisy family. I do not know the exact name or the genus this plant belongs to. It is one of the many wild varieties and was introduced to our home by our cook D.
D brought the seeds from plants growing near her house in Mysore and casually spread them in a couple of pots here. And, watered it as usual along with the other plants. After a while, on one fine day, we were treated to gorgeous yellow blooms, almost as if by magic!

Hope you had a lovely Friday. Happy weekend y’all š
Oh my goodness Priya where DO you live? It’s gorgeous to see so much open space and the flowers are beautiful. We recently shifted to a new house and though it’s large and comfy and well lit we barely get any direct sunlight and that rules out flowering plants. That’s such a shame.

Yep. Blessed to have this open space and view next to our home (which is getting encroached lately by some garage that has opened there). When we shifted to this place 10 years ago, our only wish had been that this space shouldnt get occupied by other huge building/flats, and luckily it has stayed that way so far! š
