Its been a while since I’ve bought flowers for myself. But glad to have found these lovelies while browsing through my archives after a back-up exercise (yes my phone is bursting with pictures 😛 ).
Lilies (Lilium), in general, are very attractive and enhance the beauty of flower bouquets, and of the spaces around. In my experience, most of the store bought lilies (in various other colours) lack fragrance and are useful mostly from a visual aesthetic perspective. However, the pink ones have a lovely fragrance (the pale pink ones more than the regular ones) and are hence a favourite .
Inspired to go buy me some flowers now 🙂

Oh I’ve been thinking of buying flowers for the home for so very long, but I keep forgetting. Thanks for the reminder. Perhaps I’ll go get some lilies. They last longer and I love the gentle fragrance.

The Oriental lilies have a soft fragrance whereas the Asiatic ones do not. I love lilies too.
