My blogathon this past month has resulted in more ‘followers’ to my blog. Some seem genuinely interested in what I post, many others who ‘followed’ seem to be related to marketing, consulting and so on. Perhaps, they expect me to ‘follow’ them in return? No idea…
I’ve also gotten a number of ‘likes’ on my posts and it makes me wonder what did the reader like? π Do you also feel that way when someone ‘likes’ your post but does not leave a comment? Many a time, I also ‘like’ a post and do not leave a comment. That happens if I happen to visit a blog by chance, and i’m not familiar with the author of the blog, or if I really dont find the right words quickly. Quite possible its the same with everyone…
However, irrespective of who or why, I’m glad to have new people reading my posts and truly appreciate that some of you have made the time to ‘like’ and/or leave comments/connect with me. I have hopped over to some of your blogs as well and am glad I did! I’ve also clicked on random links in other blogs and found myself reading posts that I felt drawn to.
My blogathon effort saw me diving into my picture archives and I’m glad I’ve been able to filter them out and share quite a lot of them here. I love that part, coz when I come back here over the years, or my kids/family members hop over they can see and re-live the moments too! the photographs in the archives are rarely visited otherwise π
I’d taken up the challenge knowing that I could live upto it, with things at work slowing down considerably this December. But still, on some days I’ve literally posted minutes before the 12 am mark π I’m hoping I’ll continue to do some justice to this space of mine and to the folks who look forward to my posts. I know of bloggers who’d stopped blogging just as soon as I’d followed them π #justsaying π
Last but not the least I’m glad I’ve been able to reconnect with old blogger friends whom I’ve known over the years. That’s kind of priceless. Truly grateful that I could make the time π
On that note, here’s a heartfelt thanks to everyone who has hit the ‘like’ button and/or left some lovely words for me. Hope you all have a wonderful 2020!
See you around. Cheers! π
I found the blogathon so tiring-and so fulfilling. Yes, I am also not sure if there are actual people reading my bogs or just automated bots. Doesn’t matter-as long as there are a few friends around. May our tribe grow!

You are continuing this month too? π
Congrats Priya on completing the blogathon. I so relate to posting the travel tales in our space, so that we get to walk down the memory lane later. π

Way to go Priya. Month long posting is really tough and that you managed to keep at it is wonderful. Just don’t disappear now. I’ve been inactive on my blog too – posting just about once a month. Personally for me, if I can post once a week I’m happy.
