It was awesome that I was able to visit Soweto over the weekend, but it was a nice coincidence too that the place we stayed in is just walking distance from the Nelson Mandela square. We’d made sure we visited it on our 2nd evening in Johannesburg (took a day to get accustomed to the chill weather before venturing out 😛 ).
It was our first outing so to say and I did share some of the other pics in my earlier post. Sharing these pics separately as I felt that these merited a post of their own…
